Online Services Consent Survey – Year 7 & 10

Our school uses tools and resources to support student learning, including third party (non-departmental) online services hosted and managed outside of the Department of Education network.

This week, you will be receiving an email from surveys@pbc-shs.eq.edu.au to inform you about the third party online services used in our school and how your child’s information, including some personal information and works, may be recorded, used, disclosed, and published to the services.

Please do not ignore this email and complete the survey at your earliest convenience. Not completing this survey will delay your young person’s access to crucial online services that support their learning in the school.

This email will contain the personal information you need to complete the survey and to ensure the email is not a scam:

• Student name

• Login ID

• Access Code

• Link to the survey

If you have not received a survey invitation email by Friday, 3 March:

In some instances email systems place the online consent survey email into a spam or junk folder. Furthermore, the email is automatically sent to the parent who is the enrolling parent.

The survey can only be completed once per student.

Next Step Survey

Our recently graduated (Year 12 2022) students will be invited to participate in the Next Step Year 12 Completers survey between March and June 2023.

Next Step is a statewide post-school destination survey of all students who complete Year 12 in Queensland. Insights gained from Next Step assists schools to improve their services for senior students and improve students’ transition from school to further study and employment.
