Inter-school Sport operated through our Wider District School Sport on a Wednesday afternoon for 8 weeks in Term 2. Our district is made up of teams from Elanora, Merrimac, Benowa and PBC.

The outstanding PBC sporting tradition continued this year with the mighty REDS once again dominating the Wider District Inter-school Sport Grand finals. PBC entered 49 teams into the district competition and 39 teams contested Grand Finals with 27 PBC teams winning premierships. 

These teams have now qualified for the World of Sport Gold Coast finals held in Week 7 in Term 3.  The A Division teams will compete in a full day of competition against the 3 other districts in the south coast region.

The time and effort of the many coaches who look after our teams should not be underestimated and I would to thank them on behalf of all the students involved.
