It is with great excitement that we introduce and welcome our new PBC Leo’s committee for 2023. Leo candidates presented a speech and underwent voting from the club in order to land these prestigious positions. Congratulations to all candidates for your enthusiasm and courage, and to our new committee! The new committee includes Ethan as President, Emma as Vice President, Jade as Secretary and Olivia as Treasurer. Congratulations everyone.

The Leo’s have made a number of donations recently from funds raised through their weekly sausage sizzles at Currumbin Fair IGA.

• $550 was donated to the Duke of Edinburgh Awards program at PBC. Duke of Ed do adventurous journeys and encourage students to be the best versions of themselves. The Duke of Ed is an international award program that recognises student achievements in community service, psychical activity and skills. 
• $300 to the Boots for One All Community. Boots for One and All are a Gold Coast based family that collect pre-loved football boots, sporting gear, clothing, sanitary items, and other donations, to send to the most rural parts of Australia for the Indigenous communities.
• On 16 November, PBC Leo’s club combined with the Palm Beach Currumbin Lion’s club, donated $1,200 to Year 10 Student, Kai who has recently been diagnosed with an extremely rare vascular condition, AVM, which has caused sudden, complex, and agressive neurological symptoms. Kai's family are very grateful and appreciate the Leos and Lions help.
