Cup Stacking 2022
In Week 6 PBC saw the return of a crowd favourite Interhouse Competition – Cup Stacking. Junior and Senior students turned out in droves for the chance to be crowned PBC’s Best Cup Stacker. Students had 15mins to compete in their houses to try and make the final 4 to represent their respective house in the Cup Stacking Final. The energy from the crowd was electric and the pressure on finalists was immense but at the end of the final rounds the Phoenicians were crowned Cup Stacking Champs! Shout out to the final 4 who were all from the mighty Phoenician House – Jake Lateo, Lilly Findlay, Marlin Miller and overall winner and 2022 Cup Stacking Champion Marley Kinman! Final placings – 1st Phoenicians, 2nd Athenians, 3rd Spartans, 4th Vikings.
Fishing Comp 2022
Last Friday we celebrated the annual Interhouse Fishing competition. Over the last month, students have ventured onto their local rivers and offshore in search of classic catches to earn points for their house. This year there were fantastic catches with more species of fish caught than ever before. Everything from Kingfish and Tailor offshore, to Bream, Bass, Flathead and Whiting in the creeks contributed to another great event. Every student who entered picked up their share in over $1000 of prizes. This competition is growing every year and is a great way for friends and family to spend some time together on the water.
