Executive Principal's Message
Dear Parents/Caregivers,
The Junior Secondary Academic Awards Night celebrated our Year 7, 8 and 9 students who have excelled in their academic subjects on Monday night. The night was well complimented with our Year 7 Dance Excellence Students and despite an electronic keyboard malfunction, three talented singers; Amaya Frawley, Isla Freer and Anika Loftus performed a great rendition of "What you won't do for love"; acapella, despite not having rehearsed without the music accompaniment.
The Annual Arts Awards evening was held on 28 October to celebrate 32 of our brightest Artists from Years 7-12 being awarded a number of different accolades. We welcomed two alumni to our list of PBC Arts Ambassadors – past students Emily Monsma and Cassidy Mackie. Both Emily and Cassidy shared breathtaking performances. Congratulations to Loren Skyring and the team for another fantastic awards evening.
Year 10 and 11 exams are not far away and the junior secondary students are now working towards culminating activities in their units of work. I look forward to seeing the students at school every day as culminating learning activities and assessment preparation become the focus of each day.
