We would love to hear from you! Please email us at news@pbc-shs.eq.edu.au with details of your student’s achievement and include at least one photo, and/or any links to media articles that we can share.

Order of Australia Citizenship Awards

The Order of Australia Citizenship Awards were recently held at Government House, Brisbane recognising outstanding leadership and dedication to community across all QLD students. Our very own Vice-Captain Lily Suttle was deservedly recognised, receiving an Order of Australia Certificate of Community Service – only a small recognition of her remarkable dedication to school and our local community. Lily has been an outstanding representative of PBC across her schooling, the President of our award-winning PBC Leo’s Club and a dedicated School Vice-Captain. Pictured is Lily being presented with her award by The Honourable Chief Justice Helen Bowskill, Acting Governor of Queensland. Well done Lily – we are so proud of you!

PBC Tennis stars shine at Australia Cup

Congratulations to Ollie King and Ava Edmonds who recently competed for QLD in the Australia Cup in Perth. This is a National competition where all players must qualify from their own state to compete in this event. Both Ollie and Ava played a vital role in the Qld team who went on to come third and recieve the bronze medal. A special mention must go to Ollie who has also been selected in the Australian team which is an amazing achievement. Massive congratulations to both players.

Soccer 

Congratulations to PBC’s Hunter, Roman, Jackie, Adam, Forbes and Beau who represented Queensland in Coffs Harbour at the National Titles for Football!

Congratulations to PBC’s Piper, Ash, Indi and Malia who won the U17 Football Queensland Community Cup with South Coast!  

Congratulations to PBC's Tayla, Carlie, Mia and Shaya – proud Runners Up for Football South Coast in the U13/14 Girls at the Football Queensland Community Cup on the Sunshine Coast. Fantastic effort!

Street League Skateboarding 

Chloe Covell competed overseas in her first SLS (Street League Skateboarding) championship tour in Las Vegas. From the semifinals she advanced to the finals, coming away with 2nd place. Congratulations Chloe.

Alumni Success

Congratulations to PBC 2021 graduates Isabel Andrews and Jorja Welch who have both started their USA College Football journeys. Isabel with Salt Lake Community College and Jorja with Indian Hills Community College. Achieving dreams!
