Peter Doherty Awards
We are extremely proud of Year 12 student and PBC School Captain Tanu Nona, for being a successful recipient of the Peter Doherty Award for Excellence in the Outstanding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Senior STEM Student category. Tanu was one of five students across Queensland to receive this prestigious award, with him receiving $5000 to spend on his STEM future, along with an enormous certificate! Congratulations Tanu, you are very deserving of the award.
AFL National Championships
Congratulations to Lily Moana who recently competed in Adelaide representing QLD in the AFL Nationals Championships.
QLD Rugby League City v Country U17s
Huge congratulations to Jett Jackson and Isaiah Scanlan who have both been selected to the Queensland U17 City team for the City Vs Country clash at Moreton Daily Stadium on 24 September.
AFL Futures Team
Congratulations to Will Graham and Jed Walter who have earned selection in a squad of 48 to play in the 2022 NAB AFL Futures match at the MCG as a curtain-raiser to the 2022 Toyota AFL Grand Final on Saturday 24 September.

Motorcycling Champion
Anika Loftus is a back-to-back QLD Champion having competed in the 2022 QLD 125cc & 250cc Speedway Solo & Best Pairs Championships in Kingaroy.
- 1st: 125cc Best Pairs
- 3rd: 250cc Individual Solo
