Diploma of Business Scholarship Opportunities

Aurora Training Institute is offering 2 x full Diploma of Business scholarships for Year 12 PBC students. These are worth approximately $5000 each. If there are any current Year 12 students who are interested studying a Diploma of Business in 2023 free of charge please see Mr Poirrier. 

Courses commencing in Term 4 2022

Gold Coast Trades College, TAFE, and other providers, have a number of Term 4 openings for Year 10 & 11 students who have not yet used their VETis funding.

• Gold Coast Trades College

• Certificate II Plumbing (this is a new course offering at GCTC)

• Certificate I Construction

• Certificate II Electrotechnology

• Certificate II Automotive

Students who enrol in a VET certificate course with GCTC attend their training facility in Currumbin one school day per week. Students undertake external VET courses in addition to their timetabled senior subjects.

GCTC Try-a-Trade days

Gold Coast Trades College has opened a number of spots for their trade taster days. These days do not use any funding and are free for students to attend.

Expressions of interest are now open for Years 9-12 students interested in participating. Students will attend the college for two days in Term 4. Time to enrol is running out so please see Mr Poirrier to express your interest.
