When your child is struggling at school or refusing to go to school, knowing you are on their side is what matters most. Every child has something to offer and deserves success, whatever that looks like for them. Keep believing in your child and work with them to find something that brings them joy – an activity or interest they want to spend time on. When your child does something they enjoy and can learn to do it well, it helps build their confidence. Over time, and with the right support, you can grow that spark inside your child. And as your child’s confidence grows, and with your help, they will feel ready to get their learning back on track so they can get the most out of going to school.

ALCE Australia:

The Association of Spanish Language and Culture in Australia, is a program of the Spanish Ministry of Education and Vocational Training that provides, free of charge, complementary Spanish language and culture classes to children of Spanish residents in the ACT, QLD, NSW and VIC.

Nippers Sign on…

TH&C Surf Lifesaving Club has a large number of families from the PBC community in our club, and we’re keen to keep this connection going into our new season. Several current PBC students have competed and placed nationally through our Surf Sports programme, and we’ve just launched an elite squad program to extend this support for our junior members in the water and on the beach. We’d love to see more students take advantage of this in the upcoming season.
