Student Achievements

Congratulations to Oliver King, Year 10 – Red Sport Optima for Tennis - PBC Schools Regional Team Champions.

  

QLD Schools Basketball Championships

Congratulations to PBC's Skye Adams (Y9) who represented South Coast in the U15 Basketball Team and went undefeated over the last four days, coming home with the Gold Medal. This was Skye's first time representing South Coast and he was also named in the QLD School Basketball 13-15 Yrs Boys Merit team. Great job Skye!

  

National Football Championships

Congratulations to Oscar Myers (Yr10), QLD U16 Schoolboys Football team, Milan Della Bosca (Y7), QLD U12 Schoolboys Football team and James Durrington (Yr10), QLD U16 Schoolboys shadow player. The boys will be competing at the National Football Championships in Sydney in September. Good luck REDS!

  

National Netball Championships

Congratulations to PBC's Summer Woods (Yr10) who travelled to Canberra in July to participate in the Under 15s School Netball Nationals. The QLD team played each state going though undefeated until the Gold medal Grand Final where they unfortunately got beaten by 1 point against WA bringing home the silver. Fantastic effort Summer!

  

QLD Rugby Union Championships

Last month PBC's Noah Mariner (Year 7) captained the 12yr old South Coast Rugby Union team in Rockhampton. They placed 6th. Noah won the 2022 Lifetime Member Players Award for the tournament. Congratulations Noah!
