November was the final month for the 2021 PBC Leo’s Club. This month, the 2022 Leo’s Committee was voted in and re-elected were; Lily as President, Ethan as Vice President, Michelle as Secretary and Emma as Treasurer.

We had our District Governor, Nicole Phillips, join us virtually, via zoom, at one of our weekly meetings, where she discussed her role and passions for the Leos Clubs in the District. Our last Currumbin special school breakfast was held, where Adi, Miranda, Grace and Mia volunteered. Our donation to the Kmart Wishing Tree, last month amounted to a total of $400 worth of gifts; $200 for boys and $200 for girls thanks to Emma, Adi, Raeka, Grace and Lily who made the purchases.

The Leos also donated to the Multiple Sclerosis Society a total of $500, to go towards research of finding a cure.

Our possible donations for next year are for the Tasmanian Devil Face Tumours and Break Cancer. This year, we have made most of our money through our weekly IGA BBQ’s and have donated a total of $7,700 to charities and people in need.

At the end of this year, the Leo’s will have an amazing Christmas party where we will celebrate the year and what we have done! We can’t wait for what we can do in 2022 and to meet our new members that are yet to join us!
