In what was another disjointed year, it was a fantastic effort from the staff and students in that we were able to hold our signature events and provide as many educational opportunities as possible under ever changing circumstances. I would like to thank the parents and community for their support and patience as we managed public health directives and their impact on normal school operations. With holidays approaching, the Christmas break will provide us with the opportunity to reset for 2022. 

As we reach the end of the school year, we have received information from our Regional and Central Offices regarding possible changes that schools may have to respond to within very short timeframes in 2022. With the borders re-opening in a few days and the possibilities that this brings, from the commencement of school next year, we will be asking the students to bring and take home each day, their digital learning devices and associated school resources. We have been made aware that school closures, if they are to occur, will happen with minimal notice. In the event of school operations needing to change, our communication strategy will remain with emails being the primary source of information and social media as the secondary source of details.

I would like to farewell the families who are moving on from PBC this year and wish everyone else a great holiday season.
