Social Entrepreneurship Competition

As part of Year 9 Civics and Legal Studies, Meg and Lily entered the Social Entrepreneurship Competition, FUTURE ANYTHING. They created an inspiring business idea to ‘fight against rape and rape culture’ which got them into the National Semi Finals. Unfortunatley they didn't win however presented their idea really well.

PBC Students Fundraising

Recently, the PBC students and staff celebrated all the various houses’ achievements through the year at the Champion House Assembly. Two of those achievements was raising funds for the Cancer Council and the Macleods Domestic Violence Refuge on the Gold Coast. Here the Year 12 Student Leaders presented a cheque for $2,000 to Susie Longman of the Cancer Council and a cheque for $10,000 to Elisha Bray from Macleods Refuge at the assembly. The raising of this amount of money for such a worthy causes is simply amazing and a credit to our students for making it happen.
