Student Achievements

We encourage parents/caregivers to email your student’s excellent recent achievements to us. These achievements can be in The Arts, sporting, academic or community service. We would love to hear from you! Please email us at news@pbc-shs.eq.edu.au with details of your student’s achievement and include at least one photo, and/or any links to media articles that we can share.

Queensland State Age Championships - Tennis

Congratulations to Ollie King who won the U14’s boys singles & doubles!!! Congratulations to our other PBC students that also had a great tournament:

  • Jack Hart - 4th U12 Boys Singles

  • Kuma Ito - 5th U14 Boys Singles

  • Sofia Savic - 7th U12 Girls Singles

Qld State Hockey Championships

Congratulations to Toby Campbell and Kai Webster who represented Gold Coast at the Queensland State Hockey Championships. The boys finished undefeated to become State Champions! 

The boys came up against heavy favourites Brisbane in the semi final who hadn’t had a goal scored against them in their previous 5 matches but got overtop of them in a 3-1 thriller setting up a grand final against Mackay where Gold Coast prevailed 3-2. Toby has also been announced in the QLD Squad for next year.
