Student Achievements

We encourage parents/caregivers to email your student’s excellent recent achievements to us. These achievements can be in The Arts, sporting, academic or community service. We would love to hear from you! Please email us at news@pbc-shs.eq.edu.au with details of your student’s achievement and include at least one photo, and/or any links to media articles that we can share.

Basketball

Congratulations to PBC 2020 graduate Ella Brow for committing to SMU Mustangs for 2022. The school competes in the American Athletic Conference in Division I of the NCAA. Ella, although an alumni, is still an integral part to the Reds basketball program assisting the Sports Excellence Program with coaching and will be greatly missed. We thank you for your time in the Red and White and wish you all the best for both your basketball and academics over in Dallas!

Rugby League

Huge congratulations to Keano Kini (Year 12) who has been named joint winner of the Justin Hodges Medal for his performance throughout the Langer Trophy/NRL Schoolboys Cup season this year! This is a fantastic accolade for Keano and very well deserved.

Australian Schoolboys Merit Team

Huge congratulations to four PBC Rugby League Reds, Deine Mariner, Tom Weaver, Jack Cullen and Ryan Foran, Year 12 who have been named in the Australian Schoolboys Merit Team!

The Australian Schoolboys are recognised as part of the NRL’s elite pathway, and while the capacity to play an international fixture this year is unlikely, the 2021 merit team continues the tradition of representing Australia at the Under 18 level.

What a wonderful honour being chosen to be part of the Australian Schoolboys legacy.
