Dear Parents/Caregivers,

We enter the last two weeks of Term 3 with end of term assessment activities occurring over the next fortnight.  During this time, a number of Rugby League, Soccer and Australian Rules Football teams play their finals. In addition, a number of performing arts groups have their culminating activities in front of audiences. Good luck to all our students as they enter this assessment and culminating activity period. 

The school has about 230 students from NSW who are currently learning at home. The teachers have been busy ensuring that they deliver lessons to both the students who are here at school and to the students who are at home. To increase the level of complexity, 31 of our teachers are delivering their lessons from NSW to both students in QLD classrooms and to students in NSW via MS Teams. With a change in classroom dynamics due to the border lockdown, if your child needs additional support, please contact the teacher in the first instance and then a Head of Year or Head of Department should you require additional support. 

All Year 10 students should have completed their SET Plans and subject selection forms for 2022.  If your child has not completed this task, please make arrangements to meet with Jason Cross, Deputy Principal. 

Well done to the Hospitality Students and Performing Arts students who once again made Restaurant Week such a successful event. Now in its fourth year, the students’ front and back of house ability and skill continues to improve each year continuing to set a new benchmark.
