School based traineeships available

New exciting traineeship opportunities are available in the Pathways Centre Y Block for Year 10/11’s. Job boards will be updated regularly with new positions. Students can collect a registration form and apply now.

Get paid while gaining a qualification when doing a school based traineeship and earn up to 8 QCE points!! A variety of new traineeships are on offer with a focus on business, hospitality, retail, sport and tourism

Airport Retail Enterprises: Working at the Gold Coast airport within the terminal food outlets, gain a Cert 3 with flexible working hours. Information and Recruitment Session will be held in Y Block Tuesday 1 June 8:15am. Applicants invited should bring their resume and a parent along on the day

Currumbin RSL: Looking for 4 school based trainees who have enthusiasm and love working with people. You will learn a range of hospitality skills including all aspects of food and beverage. Cert III business with hospitality focus.

We host students in a number of departments including, welding, sheet metal and the machine shop. As well as trade based students we actively encourage students with an interest in Design/ Mechanical engineering to participate as we employee many 3rd and 4th year university Engineering students in the factory.

Many of our Work experience students are offered casual employment as a result of their time here with us and then move into apprenticeships and full time employment when they have finished school.

DNA signs Currumbin

DNA Signs and Graphics is a Digital Signage business based in Currumbin, Qld. They combine creativity, innovative design and the latest technology to deliver high quality visual solutions for individuals and businesses, small and large.

Basic duties/responsibilities: organising/packing stock, monitoring the printer, vinyl weeding, vinyl application, assisting with car wraps/graphics, cleaning and detailing vehicles, basic design/artwork using Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop.
