Parent/Student/Teacher Interviews

Parents/Caregivers are invited to book Parent/Student/Teacher Interviews, scheduled for:

• Tuesday 7 May: 3:30pm to 8:00pm
• Wednesday 8 May: 3:00pm to 7:30pm
• Thursday 9 May: 3:30pm to 8:00pm

These Interviews are a significant opportunity to provide feedback to you and your student, whilst offering constructive advice for improvement.  These are our only scheduled formal interviews for the year.

 All interviews are 10 minutes in duration. You have until the close of business the day before to complete any bookings. Please find attached instructions for making interview bookings. We look forward to seeing you there.

The PBC Leo’s are inviting all members of the PBC community to participate in Relay for Life on Saturday 11 May. It is $30 to participate with all money raised going to the Cancer Council. Please register as a member of the PBC Leo’s team through www.relayforlife.org.au .

There will be live entertainment and food trucks to enjoy. Come along and help the Leo’s win the coveted schools trophy for PBC in 2019! See attached flyer for more information, see you there!

Congratulations to PBC’s newest Leo’s members that were inducted into the Lions community last term. The PBC Leo’s is a great club to be a part of at PBC and is always happy to welcome new members that are interested in contributing to the local community in a positive way. This year the Leo’s have raised funds for the Townsville floods, donated to Girl Guides and participated in Clean Up Australia Day. Meetings are every Tuesday morning at 8:00am in I01.

PBC Leo’s were busy during the holidays fundraising at a Bunnings BBQ and volunteering at Youth Week celebrations at Thrower House. Thanks to all the Leo’s that volunteered their time. The Leo’s are always happy to have new members at their meetings on Tuesday mornings at 8 am in the TTC.

PBC's Inagural Gala Dinner 

PBC's inaugural Gala will be on Saturday night, 25 May 2019, bringing together our school community for a fun and memorable event.

The evening will be spent under the lights in the senior quad, enjoying the sounds of the PBC Optima Ensemble and the PBC Stage Band before a DJ hits his tunes allowing party-goers to dance the night away. Included in your ticket are canapes on arrival and a delicious dinner buffet and dessert. A cash bar will operating on the night. A well-known MC will be hosting and there will be lots of raffles and silent auctions. Many local businesses are donating prizes that will be won on the night.

We are excited to celebrate and showcase our school and to fundraise for the new heart and soul of the PBC community.
