Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Last week we officially farewelled our Year 12 students at their Graduation and Formal ceremony.  After such a disrupted year, it was great to finish on a high note where we could, as a community, celebrate the conclusion of 13 years of schooling with the students. The student performances and farewell speeches were inspiring and graduates had a great time after the formal part of the evening was complete. I would like to thank Amanda Stewart and Mitch Kennedy who never gave up on the idea of having a formal and graduation where the parents could attend. The amount planning, re-planning, time and effort that went into making the event happen was substantial. 

We wish the Year 12 students all the best for next year and a reminder that if everything doesn’t go to plan, we will be here to assist through the new Link and Launch program that we are offering Year 12 graduates in 2021.

From the commencement of school in 2021, all Year 7 to 9 students will not be allowed to use their mobile phones from the time that they arrive at school until the time that they leave. With all Year 7 to 9 students in 2021 having their own laptop for learning, there is no longer a requirement for phones to be used in class for learning purposes or in the playground. If students are required to check their phone through the school day for messages from home/work, they will be able to do so during a lunch break only, and in a designated office area only.
