Last week PBC was announced as one of ten schools to join the Link and Launch program. This program is aimed at supporting Year 12 students in the year after they have finished school. If a Year 12 student in February is not enrolled in a further education course and they do not have a job, the school will be able to support them make the transition into further education or finding a job. A dedicated staff member will be employed to support the former students make the transition from high school into the next step in their life. More details will be coming home soon. This is an exciting initiative that couldn’t be more timely given the events of the year so far.
