One Percent Workshops - Term 3
PBC's Sports Excellence Program is giving students much more than the skills to perform on the playing field. Earlier this term Prue Davies ( Ex-PBC student, B. Ex Sci, international level SLSC competitor and current world record holder 200m Super Life Saver) delivered her One Percent Workshop to all of PBC’s Sports Excellence girls. Prue’s knowledge across women’s performance, health and wellness is invaluable for our students. A motivating mentor with experience that goes beyond her sporting achievements at the highest level, Prue led our girls through an interactive workshop to enhance their performance, knowledge and awareness.
R U OK? Day
Last Thursday we celebrated R U OK? Day and encouraged all our students and staff to regularly check in with friends, family and colleagues. It is important to have conversations with others, to check in, to offer support and listen. A conversation could save a life. Find conversation tips and more at www.ruok.org.au
