Dear Parents and Caregivers,

You are invited to participate in this year’s School Opinion Survey and have a say about schooling during the COVID-19 lockdown. You are also given the opportunity to provide feedback about our school more generally.

Participation in the survey is anonymous and you are encouraged to take this opportunity to have your say. The survey form has been designed so that it can easily be completed on a computer or smartphone. The online survey will be available until Friday 17 July 2020, and should take less than five minutes to complete.

With assessment items nearly complete, teachers are working on the summative assessment collation to determine report card marks. We aim to have report cards for Year 7 to 9 released over the school holidays.  Year 10 report cards will be released on Week 2 of Term 3. We anticipate that parent-teacher interviews will occur over the phone in Week 3 of Term 3. We were hoping to do face-to-face interviews next term however COVID 19 restrictions means that this is unlikely. 

School holidays commence this Friday with classes resuming on Monday 13 July.  It is also important to note that this year the Gold Coast Show Holiday has been moved to Friday 14 August to align with Brisbane for a one off long weekend.
