Cook Island
For the Year 12 aquatics snorkelling unit we visited cook island for the day. After a short boat trip from Tweed River to Cook Island the students were eager to find their way into the water. Snorkelling amongst a great variety of fish, turtles, star fish and even wobbegong sharks, students experienced a real life relation to the underwater world. After countless hours of snorkelling, there was still time for bomb dives, sing-alongs and the occasional bout of sea sickness. This day brought memories, friendships and experiences that everyone will cherish for their last year of school.
