Rise Every Day 'Mentally' Stronger
To rise every day mentally stronger takes a similar focus to improving physical strength. We all need hints and tips to use, and to apply effort to become stronger. Building strength results in increased capability to be resilient and to recover from stressors in our lives.
At 6pm Wed, 4 March PBC will host a session about hearing advice from parents to parents about supporting children to build mental strength, in the Trade Training Centre.
Speakers will include;
• Community Awareness Officer (Headspace)
• Director (Heal.Ed Tribe)
• PBC Student Welfare Team
• Parents with children on a recovery journey
All children and adolescents experience anxiety and stress in their lives. For some, these experiences can result in barriers to achievement, accomplishment and emotional positivity. This session will provide parents with advice that will enable them to support the building of mental strength in their children’s lives. The advice is from parents who have supported children through a mental illness recovery journey and the student welfare team from PBC. This is a free event.
