Valentines Day

Valentines Day is always a wonderful school wide celebration of love. It is also the first big fundraising activity for the 2020 Student Council. Dressed for love, roses and bundles of love were delivered to students and Teachers all over PBC on Friday 14 Feb, with some lucky enough to be serenaded! Our Student Council are to be congratulated for organising such a wonderful event.

Gold Coast Inter – Schools Tennis Challenge

PBC took a team of 32 students to compete in the annual Inter–School Challenge which was a doubles event held over 2 venues on Sunday 16 February and with the vast majority of private and state schools represented it was a highly competitive tournament. The quality of tennis on display was exceptionally high with all of the PBC students competing and performing well. The stand out performance was in the Middle School girls competition with Ebonie Russell and Karissa Muir (pictured) going all the way and winning the competition in a nail biting tiebreak in the final! PBC also had semi-final appearances in the junior secondary boys (Reave Gehling and Quincy Khan), senior secondary girls (Paula Merlin and Julia Edle Von Krempelhuber) and senior secondary boys (Jan Constantin Arntz and Julian Heubach) who all narrowly missed out on making the finals. Congratulations to all of the PBC students who competed and thank you to all of the parents for their continued support.
