PBC welcomed a new group of International study abroad students who will be here studying for the next 6 to 12 months. They are from Austria, Brazil, Chile, China. Germany, Italy, Japan, Norway, Portugal, Romania and Switzerland. The students are all keen to improve their English and to  get to know more of the Australian culture. The majority of the students are staying with our homestay families and look forward to spending time on the Gold coast. In the coming weeks the students will spend time visiting Tangalooma, Cook Island, Byron Bay and Fraser Island. 

We will once again be hosting the Lizen Taiwanese Study Tour from the 21 May till 7 June. This group has visited PBC for the past 15 years and we have a Friendship Agreement with the school in Taiwan. The students will be integrated into our classrooms during their time with us and will have themed lessons on climate change and Australian bushfires as well as Aussie culture and communication. They will have a very interactive and fun program. The students stay with local homestay families and we are seeking anyone who may be interested in hosting 1 or 2 students for this tour.

This is a great opportunity to open your home to an International student for a short period of time and experience a different culture.
