Football (soccer) Excellence

The PBC Soccer Sports Excellence Program is delighted to announce that Paul Jones will be the program’s Goal Keeping Coach in 2020. Paul holds the highest accreditation possible for Goal Keeping coaching and is a vastly experienced coach on a national and international level. His previous roles include 20 years as the Head Goal Keeping Coach at the Australian Institute of Sport and of the Matildas (Australian Women’s Team) which has taken Paul to three World Cups and the Rio Olympic Games.

PBC has a rich history of helping produce elite Goal Keepers with alumni including New Zealand International, Glen Moss and Australian Internationals, Casey Dumont and Mackenzie Arnold, who Paul coached whilst being a part of the Matildas coaching team.

With Paul on board our current male and female Goal Keepers will be getting the best quality coaching available to hopefully follow in their footsteps. “Working at PBC is something I am extremely excited about. So many good players have come through this program over the years and I am looking forward to helping develop the next generation of players reach their targets and dreams. Hopefully we can help develop future Matildas and Socceroo players. I want to thank Shane and Neil for this opportunity and I am looking forward to this being a long term relationship”
