Year 7 Technology
In Semester 2 Year 7 students were tasked with making coaster stands from start to finish, planned and evaluated. They very much enjoyed the project and were proud of their coasters. Well done 7F.
Year 8 Food Technology
In Semester 2 students were given an opportunity to develop their food hygiene and safety skills. Students learnt to prepare and cook a range of dishes, including Fried Rice, San Choy Bow, Breakfast wraps, Pizza with a homemade base as well as range of other delicious dishes. The design task for Year 8 - Let's Celebrate, tasked the students with developing a themed party invitation and small novelty cake that would be suitable for a teenager. The Year 8 Food technology teachers along with the classroom aide Miss Hill worked with the students on developing their design ideas and concepts, bring them to life, as you can see the students made some very impressive cakes and invitations, possibly some future pastry chefs in the making.
