Teacher Achievement!

Congratulations to PBC's Head of Senior School, Mick McDougall who received the Outstanding Achievement Award for Educational Leadership at the annual Teachers Ball last weekend. Well done also to Ty Russell and Di Keevers who represented the teaching and support staff as the PBC nominees.

Congratulations to the 2019 AFL Merit Award recipient, our very own Neil Mackay, Head of Sports Excellence. Every year, in each state, the AFL bestows its highest volunteer honour, the AFL Merit Award, to two individuals that have given exemplary service to our game for a period greater than 10 years. Mr Mackay is one of this year's recipients.

Squash Success

Congratulations to PBC's Shona Coxsedge who was selected to be part of the U15 Qld Squash team in May this year. The Qld team recently traveled to New Zealand to play against NSW and NZ in the Trans Tasman Challenge over 4 full days of competition. After the first few days of competition Australian teams were picked and Shona was selected to be in the U15 Australian team! The Australian Team then played a test match against a very strong NZ team. Unfortunately for the Australians, NZ came out on top for the 8th year in a row. Over the entire competition Shona only lost one match which is a fantastic result. Well done Shona!
