Executive Principal's Update
From the Executive Principal,
Students from our Instrumental Music Program hit the HOTA stage last week to perform at this year’s Gold Coast Eisteddfod. The students had a huge week with many performing across multiple ensembles on various instruments. Congratulations on the outstanding results!
Synergy Wind Ensemble – 1st Place
Stage Band 2 – 1st Place
Optima Wind Ensemble – Platinum Award
Stage Band 1 – Platinum Award
A number of CAX and Arts events highlighting the creative works of our students have been happening across the calendar. Senior Music Showcase was an example of the best musicians in our senior school performing with confidence backed up by exceptional skills. This culminating event allows our finest composers and performers to experience a live audience in a positive and supportive environment. We now move onto our two big culminating activities of Music Under the Lights and Dance Night early next term.
September holidays start on Friday and please note the change for 2024 where we come back to school on Monday 30 September.
