In this traineeship students will rotate through a range of outlets including fast food, cafe and retail. Local Jobs Roadshow

A Gold Coast Local Jobs Roadshow is being organised by the Department of
Education South East Region at Elanora State High School on Tuesday August 20, 2024.
The aim of this roadshow is to connect local employers with local job seekers. Attendees would be asked to bring along copies of their resumes and would have the opportunity to discuss with employers their businesses and job vacancies. It is expected that employers from the following industries would be present:
 Construction
 Education
 Health Care and Social Services
 Retail and Hospitality
 Marine Manufacturing
 Tourism

PBC SHS would like to take interested Year 12 students to this event and will provide a bus for students to and from the event. It is envisaged that students will leave PBC at 9:20am on August 20 and return by 11:30am. To ensure we can cater accurately for buses and student attendance, if your student is interested, please get them to physically come to Y block and register to attend by 3:00pm Friday August 9. Registered students will then be added to the online consent management for parents to consent to the excursion.
