Rugby 7's
Congratulations to Evie Clarkson who sompeted at the 16-18years Rugby 7's State Championship for South Coast, held at Ballymore Stadium. Their team came 4th overall, with Evie being selected as a shadow for the Queensland State Team. Well done Evie!
AFL
Congratulations to the following PBC students who represented South Coast in AFL 13–15-year girls.
Well done to Nikki, Sage, Rosie, Tiger-Lily and Lily for being selected in the QLD team to compete in the National championships in July.
Tae Kwon Do
On June 9, Year 10 PBC student Emilia successfully passed her Tae Kwon Do grading, earning a Second-Degree Black Belt in the martial art. Emilia is also the youngest Second Degree at the National Tae Kwon Do school. Emilia has been training in the traditional form of TKD for 10 years and is also an instructor, teaching each Tuesday night in Broadbeach. What a fantastic achievement Emillia!!
Rugby League
Congratulations to our very own PBC Reds Sam Stephenson and Zane Harrison, who will be donning the Maroon and Blue Jerseys on June 20.
Zane has made the 2024 U19 NSW State of Origin Team and Sam, the 2024 U19 QLD State of Origin Team
The game will be played at Leichardt Oval on Thursday 20th June.
Congratulations also to Sunny Kama on his call up into the 18 years Queensland State Schoolboys Rugby League Representative team.
Sunny will head to Coffs Harbour for the ASSRL National Schoolboys Rugby League Championships in July. Well done, Sunny!! ?⚪?
