General Sports News Update
PBC's Track and Field Carnival will be held in week 2 of term 3 - **PLEASE NOTE TIME AND DATE CHANGES TO SCHEDULE**
As per usual we will run our Track and Field Event in week 2 – Friday 19th July, however we will put on other events throughout the week for ALL students to participate in and have the chance of qualifying to compete for the school, at the Oceanic District Track and Field event.

Shot/Discus/Javelin 9.00am-12pm (year 7/8/9)
200m/400m Hurdles 3.15pm

Triple Jump 7.15am
Thursday 18 July
1500m 7.15am
Friday 19th July
Sprint Hurdles 7.15am
Main School Carnival Day
9.10am-3.00pm (no need to sign up for events on this day)
ALL events that take place on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday – YOU MUST SIGN UP FOR in the S block foyer during week 9, 10 of this term and week 1 of next term. No sign up – no participation!
This is a COMPULSORY school day, and a lot of effort goes in by the HOUSE leaders to make the day as fun as possible – please attend, have a go at some events, gain house points, have fun on the inflatables, collect your raffle tickets and maybe go home with some great prizes!!
GCSS Cluster Day information for Term 3
The last Cluster Day will take place on Wednesday 24th July (week 3)
On Wednesday 14 August, there will be Inter School Sport Finals for those Inter School sport teams that finish in 1st or 2nd position on the GCSS Cluster leaderboard.
The teams that are currently on track to make final days are:
Year 9/10 Boys RL / Year 7 Boys Soccer (2 teams) / Year 8 Boys Soccer / Year 9 Boys Soccer (2 teams) / Year 7/8 Girls BB / Year 9/10 Girls BB / Year 8 Girls Netball / Year 7 Girls Touch / Year 8 Girls Touch / Year 9 Girls Touch / Junior Boys VB / Senior Boys VB
For everyone else, Wednesday 14th August will be a NORMAL SCHOOL DAY.
