Junior Secondary Update
Assessment and Reports
Our Junior Secondary students have been working very hard over the last few weeks, completing assessments. It has been wonderful to see our students' commitment to applying their knowledge in classrooms. Thank you to our parents and carers who have supported our students through the assessment period, by checking progress against the assessment calendars and encouraging students to put in the extra effort at home. Your support and efforts are greatly appreciated.
Academic Semester 1 reports for Years 7-9 will be emailed home on Friday, 21 June 2024. Should you need to change your current email address please email:

An N rating may be applied to any student or individual subject where there is insufficient evidence to assign a level of achievement. This can occur due to extended absence or failure to submit assessment.
Parents are encouraged to connect with individual teachers if you have any concerns based on the reported student progress.
Junior Secondary Timetables
Semester 2 timetables will be emailed to all students during the School Holidays. These will include changeover of electives for all year levels.
Work Experience Reminder
All Year 9 students will be participating in Work Experience during Term 3 – Week 10. There will be no regular lessons for students during this time.
Please return the completed forms to A Block Junior Secondary Student Services office as soon as possible – preferably by 21 June 2024.
Taking Student Opinions seriously
This email mailbox is for students to provide suggestions, input or feedback about all aspects of school. This mailbox will be managed by campus principals Anita Sgalippa and Alyce Bradford.
Students will receive a response within 48 hours and students will be informed about changes that come into effect as a result of opinions raised or why these ideas can't be operationalised due to constraints.

PARENT SUPPORT
Parent Support is an email mailbox for families wishing to communicate any feedback, issues or concerns to the school. We wish to help families by offering solutions and/or suggestions with an aim to resolving any concerns raised. We will provide a positive and timely response and an opportunity for families to give constructive and favourable feedback.
Parents will receive a response within 48 hours.
