In my first week at PBC I addressed the staff and spoke of the great passion and pride I had seen and heard within the school.  Now three terms later that has not changed and was highlighted in the Executive Summary of the recent external School Review.  This summary is on our website. 

That passion and pride translates into staff and students who want to achieve the best outcomes.  For some students this may not be an “A” level in their subjects.  All students can achieve high levels in Effort and Behaviour on their report cards.  I ask that you go to those levels first when the report cards arrives in your email inbox.  Have a discussion about these with your child so they know these results are important to you, as they drive the Level of Achievement outcome.

P&C is on the first Monday after the holidays.  With new members at the last meeting the discussion had more voices and opinions.  The P&C are very dedicated and are always looking of ways to help the school without being an onerous task.  Extra members at the meetings to generate discussion and ideas would be greatly appreciated.  The meeting is July 8, 6-7pm at the Currumbin RSL, followed by optional social dinner if you can stay.

Thank you to all who have provided support over my time as Executive Principal.  I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at this wonderful school.  Chris Capra will be back in the role on July 8.
