Our primary method of communication with parents in the case of urgent messaging is through mobile text messaging.  We will support this with social media and email.  With most families now on QParents we will investigate also providing any notifications through this platform. Please ensure your details are always kept up to date.  There will be an opportunity at the Parent Teacher Interviews to provide any changes you may have in this area.  Email is important as this is the method to provide academic reports. 

In the next week the Parent Teacher Interview portal will open to accept bookings.  This is an ideal opportunity to connect with teachers to partner in the learning of your child.  I encourage you to book early to secure the spots you require.

This Thursday is the ANZAC day public holiday, Friday is a normal school day with all lessons.  From Channel 7 regarding ANZAC Day: “We have a special edition of Sunrise live from Currumbin beach (right near the surf club).  We would love to invite your school community to be a part of the show from 7am.  We're cooking up a delicious breakfast, there will be some fun performances and lots of chances to get on national TV.”
