• Term 1 is off to a flying start – the first Interhouse event saw a massive turnout for Mario Kart with Will Miglioranza from the Vikings taking out the overall win.

Students and teachers showed up in huge numbers for this event – with 172 overall participants.

• The Maths Competition took place across Weeks 8 and 9 with the Phoenicians narrowly beating out the Vikings, followed by the Spartans in 3^rd place and Athenians in 4^th place. The team-scored event saw students participate in a paper-quiz and the finalists for each house answered multiple questions in a timed head-to-head final. Lachlan Haysom from the Spartans and Sachin Sunil from the Phoenicians tied for the top honours overall in the Seniors and Bailey Bruhn from the Phoenicians tied with Rhys Moore from the Athenians in the Juniors.
• The race for the House Championship is the closest at this point in the year that we can recall, with first and last place separated by only 72 points, with the lead changing after every event in the 2024 cup. Current standings: 1^st Phoenicians (618pts), 2^nd Vikings (608pts), 3^rd Spartans (588pts), 4^th Athenians (546pts).
