Here we are at the end of Term 1 and what an interesting term it has been - full of activity with our junior students participating in NAPLAN and with our community enjoying our Musical – The Wedding Singer, along with interschool sport, Optima Awards, many House activities and now deep into exams.

It has certainly been a term not without challenges with staffing changes, particularly within our Junior School and I would like to thank you for adopting to these changes as we aim to ensure a high quality of education for students.

 

Through the holidays an area for our families to consider is safety on our roads.  The rapid uptake of electric powered bikes and scooters is both exciting and concerning as their extra speed is an additional risk.  This has been highlighted by Dr Norman Swan who spoke of the ongoing serious implications which occurred after an accident involving one his children not wearing a helmet.  An account of this can be found at:
