Tonie Carroll Cup

Congratulations to our Year 7 Boys Rugby League Team who finished 3^rd in their pool at the Tonie Carroll Cup last Thursday. The boys played 5 games in very hot 38 degree conditions at Bill Norris Oval in Beenleigh. Coach Aaron Zimmerle was very proud of the courage and character that the boys showed in the stifling conditions and against some very intimidating opponents. Unfortunately we suffered a few injuries with Junior’s broken foot being the worst. The good news is the boys have successfully qualified for the Yr 7 Broncos Cup Competition, which consists of the top 8 schools in South East QLD. The boys now know the level that they must compete at and after they recover from this tournament, we have 6 weeks to prepare for round 1. Thank you also to all the parents who travelled out to support your boys.
