District Swim Trial Nominations

CALLING PBC SWIMMERS AND LIFESAVERS!

As soon as school starts for 2024, we will be finalising selection for the PBC Swim Team. The District Swim Competition will be held in Week 4 of Term 1 2024. The PBC Swim Team will be made up of PBC students currently involved in swimming and surf lifesaving. If selected at this event, it is expected that you will take part.

To nominate for the PBC swim team please contact Ms Hart (School Sport Coordinator) via email at sport@pbc-shs.eq.edu.au detailing your preferred events and times by Wednesday 7th February (please note Mrs Hart's email address has changed)

You will be asked to supply evidence of times from an approved swimming meet.

GC Cluster Day Information

All students in Year 7-11 have selected their sport/activity choice for 2024 via an online survey. Those who haven’t completed the survey have been allocated to School Based Rec (Year 7-10) or Home Study (Year 11).

This will be their timetabled sport for the 5 cluster days this year. The dates for the cluster days in 2024 are:

Cluster Day 1 – Tuesday 27^th February (T1 Week 6)

Cluster Day 2 - Wednesday 20^th March (T1 week 9)

Cluster Day 3 – Monday 22^nd April (T2 week 2)

Cluster Day 4 - Tuesday 4^th June (T2 week 8)

Cluster Day 2 - Wednesday 24^th July (T3 week 3)

GC Cross Over Finals – Wednesday 14^th August (T3 Week 6)

A reminder that cluster days are compulsory school days and attendance is taken and included in the students overall % for the year.
