A huge welcome to all of our Senior students and their families to 2024, we trust you had a restful break over the Christmas holidays. A special mention to our new students coming into Year 10 from our Junior School and to our Year 12's - the graduating cohort of 2024, of whom we are looking forward to celebrating each experience with along the journey of this year.

We have been pleased with the community response and maturity of all students around understanding and compliance with the new Away for The Day policy that relates to the use of mobile devices at school this year. This is obviously a change in the school experience for many, but our Seniors have adjusted quickly, and are to be congratulated for this. The level of engagement in classrooms and in the schoolyard has been an immediate improvement as students have thrived without the added distraction of a device. OPTIMA AWARDS

Our OPTIMA Awards recognising outstanding academic, cultural, sporting and community achievements across the 2nd semester of 2023 will be held on Thursday 15th February. In the Senior school, this award ceremony is for award recipients and their families only, with invites going out next week. Congratulations in advance to all recipients and we look forward to celebrating with you at the ceremony.

GROWING GOOD HUMANS

Information will soon be getting sent out regarding our upcoming Growing Good Humans Workshops, which are compulsory for all Year 11 & 12 students. In 2024, our sessions will involve contributions from our flagship GGH program, YouChoose Road Safety, and Heal.ed Mental Health Awareness workshops. Dates for these sessions are:
