House and Care Report
The Care Carnival for 2023 was a massive hit! Last Friday students from years 7-9 designed and ran a stall in their Care class groups for our annual Care Carnival. It was amazing to see so many kids working together in a team to plan, promote and implement their stalls on the day. It was a huge success with so many innovative ideas providing the students an opportunity to participate in a variety of activities on the day. Stalls that were a highlight on the day were:
- Splat the Rat
- Calorie Challenge
- Spin the Choccy Wheel
- Snow Cones
- Ice Creams
- Hoops
- Toast Toss
- Nerf Accuracy Challenge
- Games Corner with Brentnall & Moakesy
Students also had a blast on the toilet and bath races, mechanical meltdown, extreme fun run and dunk tank. It was a highlight to see Mrs Wise (Deputy Principal) suit up to be the first person in the dunk tank firing line. There was a swarm of Junior School students who flocked to the Dunk Tank looking for the opportunity to dunk Wisey!
Thanks to all students and staff who were involved and made it such a great day and successful event!
