Cross Country News
A massive congratulations to our PBC Cross Country runners who dominated the District Cross Country at Pizzey Park. We had 60 PBC runners and 50 of those managed to gain qualification to represent the District at Regional Cross Country at Rivermount College, Yatala. In every high school race, we had PBC students in a medal position.
Well done to everyone that took part.

QSAC Excursion
The Track Sports Excellence group had an amazing day at the QSAC (QLD Sport & Athletics Centre) for the 3rd Cluster Day. This is the track that will most likely be used for the 2032 Brisbane Olympics. They had the opportunity to be coached by an Australian National Team coach who gave feedback and helped with technique. Students watched several professional athletes train on the track (including Michelle Jenneke who has won many International medals in Sprint Hurdles). They also had an opportunity to race in their main event on the track. Finally, The Head of Physical Performance (in charge of 750 athletes and 20 coaches) gave them a tour of the gym used by professional athletes in the centre.
We are extremely grateful to have been given this opportunity.
