Cert 2 Engineering & Cert 3 Aviation and IT @ PBC (Mr Buchanan)
This semester, Years 10 and 11 Certificate 2 Engineering students have been working hard to complete online theory and robotics construction during class. This week, they participated in a full day practical intensive experience. The day was run in partnership with an external RTO Skills Generation who helped facilitate students to gain hands-on experience in the field of engineering. Students were provided with the opportunity to operate multiple engineering workshop machines such as a Mig welding machine and other hand tools. They learnt many new skills and were able to complete an independent project of welding together a steel dice from flat steel.
By the end of the term, students will commence either a Certificate 3 in Aviation or Certificate 3 in IT.
