Y12 Cert 1 Construction have begun the process of renovating the footpaths, stairs, retaining walls and loading dock outside T-Block (Manual Arts Block).  The 3 Year 12 classes have been working collaboratively to plan, order materials, demo old landscaping features, excavate, set out profiles and construct a concrete sleeper retaining wall system, new footpaths and a set of concrete stairs.  Stage 1 of the refurb was completed in Week 10 of Term 1. Term 2 will see the retaining wall continue the length of T-Block and concrete footpaths be widened to provide better access around the building. The Year 12 students involved have had a great opportunity to be involved in a real world construction project and have taken the chance to leave their mark on the school by contributing to the refurb.
