Eating Comp!

Last term in Week 9 PBC held its first ever Inter-house Eating Competition. It was a hugely successful event that saw nearly 100 students participate to be crowned “PBC’s Most Talented Eater”!

There were 5 stages to the Eating Competition…

Stage 1 – students earned participation points for their House by battling it out in a dry Weet-Bix eating challenge.

Stage 2 – from stage 1, four pairs were chosen as teams to represent their House. Students had to feed their partner a cinnamon donut that was suspended by string from a broomstick. The 2 slowest teams were eliminated.

Stage 3 – one partner had to eat a bowl of spaghetti bolognaise. The 2 slowest teams were eliminated.

Stage 4 - one partner had 60 seconds to eat as many brussel sprouts as possible. The 2 slowest teams were eliminated.

Stage 5 (The Grand Final) - one partner had to eat a banana split sundae with all the trimmings. The first team to finish was crowned PBC’s inaugural eating champs.

It was an exciting and highly entertaining lunch time activity that had students turn out in droves to either compete or watch their friends. In the end the finishing positions were as follows:

1^st – Spartans
^2nd – Phoenicians
3^rd – Vikings
4^th – Athenians
