Dear Parents/Caregivers,

Term 1 draws to a close on Friday with most school students undertaking exams and having assessment items due this week. Students in Years 10 and 12 have an exam block from Wednesday to Friday meaning that the students will be working up until the school holidays commence. School holidays commence this Friday at 3:00pm with school returning on Monday 17 April. 

Capital Works Projects continue at a rapid pace with the Sports Hall Precinct due to be finished on time next term and the new C Block toilets to be handed over to the school late this week. Over the holidays some asbestos removal works will occur and therefore with the exception of the Saturday Markets, the school will be closed to the community over the holidays. 

It was great to see Term 1 resembling school life pre-pandemic. The number of students who participated in extra-curricular activities was at a record high, whether it was camps, excursions or performances. Term 2 is looking just as exciting with competitive sports, arts and academic competitions all commencing.
