Dear Parent/Caregiver,

Term 1 assessments are becoming due and some students will have exams coming up.  In addition, Year 7 and 9 students commence their NAPLAN tests online this week.  For some students, assessments increase their levels of anxiety.  For most students, healthy eating, regular sleep patterns and exercise will assist in minimising stress.  If your child is anxious about upcoming assessments, they can speak with their Care Class teacher in the first instance or the Head of Year about accessing additional support.

School sports have all commenced. The GC6 first cluster day for 2023 has been held. Sports Excellence Teams have been playing in trials or their competitions have commenced. Many District and Regional trials have been held or will be held soon.  For students wishing to represent the school at a District level or above, please remember to have the school sign off your forms prior to attending the trials.
